HH-3900 Antiwear Agent for Low Sulphur Diesel Oil

Ⅰ、Product Introduction

　Diesel engine has the advantages of high efficiency, cleanliness and durability. Diesel oil is used not only as fuel but also as anti-wear lubricant for oil pump and high-pressure oil pump. The pressure of high-pressure oil pump is generally 10 MPa to 20 MPa. If the anti-wear lubricity of diesel oil is not good, it can not provide reliable lubrication for the oil pump, which will lead to excessive wear of the precise parts of the engine, poor matching accuracy, poor diesel atomization, insufficient engine power or idle speed instability, and other problems, resulting in reduced service life, and may cause oil leakage of the oil pump in serious cases.

　Diesel oil is an organic mixture, including hydrocarbons and non-hydrocarbons. Hydrocarbons mainly include alkanes, naphthenes and aromatic hydrocarbons. Non-hydrocarbon compounds mainly include sulfur, nitrogen and oxides. In order to meet the requirement of low sulfur diesel oil, some refining methods are adopted in the production process to control the sulfur content within a certain standard. Desulfurization of diesel oil exceeds a certain level, and some natural lubricants in diesel oil decrease, which leads to the decrease or disappearance of lubricity of diesel oil. Lubrication of diesel oil has become an important problem, which needs to be solved urgently. Due to the limited operating conditions in refineries, it is considered that lubricating additives are an economical way to meet the anti-wear and lubrication requirements of low-sulfur diesel oil.
　Jiangyin Huaheng Additives Co., Ltd. and Tsinghua University College of Chemical Engineering have developed HH-3900 low-sulfur diesel antiwear agent through years of close cooperation, dedicated experiments and combined with the actual situation of diesel production in China. The additive is an oil-soluble liquid additive. Its chemical composition is a mixture of organic acids and their derivatives. The recommended dosage is generally 50-200 ppm. The main synthetic processes are as follows:

　Organic esters containing aromatic ring groups and organic acids containing multiple alkyl side chains and aromatic ring groups were synthesized from several basic organic chemical raw materials through substitution reaction, cyclization reaction, oxidation reaction and esterification reaction. The optimum technological conditions for each reaction were investigated and the optimum formulation of the antiwear agent compound system was determined through antiwear test. Reasonable production scheme was worked out. The process flow diagram is as follows:

HH-3900 antiwear agent has the following advantages:

(1) Improve the lubricity of diesel oil;

(2) Reduce the wear of jet pump;

(3) Protect the injection system from wear and tear;

(4) To prolong the service life of the engine and reduce the maintenance cost.

(5) There is no negative effect on the main properties of diesel oil, such as oxidation stability, low temperature fluidity and cetane number.

(6) It will not affect the cleanliness of fuel injection system, and has no adverse effect on conventional emissions (HC, CO, NO_X).

Ⅱ、PRODUCT PERFORMANCE

HH-3900 low-sulfur diesel antiwear agent can be used in various grades of low-sulfur diesel oil, which can significantly improve the antiwear lubricity of diesel oil, reduce the wear of diesel engine and improve the operation condition. The product has no corrosion and its safety precaution is similar to that of general petroleum products.

Ⅳ、Usage
1) According to the anti-wear and lubricity test of diesel oil, the suitable amount is determined.
2) The product is easy to dissolve in diesel oil and easy to operate. It can be added proportionally from the side of the diesel pipeline, or the additives can be directly pumped into the tank, so that the diesel oil and additives in the tank can be blended evenly through circulation.

Ⅴ、Product Packaging

Galvanized iron barrel or polypropylene barrel packing, net content 170kg per barrel. It can also be packed in bulk or packaged according to user's requirements.

Ⅵ、Storage and transportation

The product has stable performance and can be stored at room temperature. It can prevent the damage of the packing barrel when transported.
